PUBLIC HEARING AND SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Tonasket Park and Recreation District will hold a special Board meeting and public hearing on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Tonasket School District Office Board Room.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on revenue sources for the District’s 2027 operating budget, including consideration of possible increases in property tax revenues. Following the hearing, the Board will consider adoption of the 2027 budget and resolutions establishing the 2027 property tax levy, including a proposed 1% increase in the District’s regular property tax levy.
All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. Persons needing language assistance or accommodations for hearing or access should contact Jordon Weddle, Board Chair, at 509-557-8228 at least 24 hours before the meeting.

Due to the absence of a quorum, the Board is unable to conduct business at its regularly scheduled meeting on August 12, 2026. Pursuant to RCW 42.30.090, the meeting is hereby adjourned and continued to Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., at the regular meeting location (Tonasket School District – District Office Board Room). No official business was conducted due to the lack of a quorum.
